When looking to upgrade your suspension and go taller, we like to always start with height when looking to choose the perfect kit. Sometimes we don’t know exactly how tall we want to go but do have a tire size in mind we’re looking to run – That is just as helpful! All kits have their limits on tire size and as long as we know we’re able to clear what we’re looking to choose that is going to allow the kit to be a definite option going forward. We’ve gathered our top selling kits along with some basic knowledge for each to help guide you prior to coming to us with a build request. More often than not we end up going over all of this in one of our starter emails but with the growing Jeep community in NOVA we figured we’d like to share with everyone rather than the lucky ones who end up contacting us for recommendations and install! 

*It’s always important to input your Year, Make, Model and Submodel into the sites you’re requesting product from just to ensure you’re looking at *only* what fits your vehicle! Sometimes we get so excited we end up missing some of the important fitment information and that ends up biting us down the road. This helps eliminate that possibility completely! Teraflex separates their kits by model but also doors – so make sure you’re looking at the appropriate door selection too as that will alter fitment and part number moving forward*

JKU (4 DR) 2.5″ Sport ST2 Suspension System

  • Shocks and steering stabilizers are sold separately from Teraflex’s kits in order to allow additional customization per build – This usually depends on preference, usage, or budget.
  • All height change required components are included in order to maintain a quality ride and retain the geometry needed to keep all drivetrain components where they need to be in order to be functional
  • 2.5″ height allows for a MAX of 35″ tires (35X1250R)

Kit Includes:

  • Front & Rear Upgraded Coil Springs, Front track bar, 2 front lower control arms, sway bar end links, upgraded front and rear progressive bump stops, upgraded rear track bar bracket as well as all necessary hardware.
  • Excellent kit for daily driving WITH the needed capability to hit trails, dirt/gravel roads, sand, mud, and more!
  • Alignment is required after installation due to the suspension upgrade
  • FACTORY SHOCKS WILL NOT WORK WITH THESE KITS DUE TO THE HEIGHT CHANGE -SO ALTHOUGH NEW SHOCKS AREN’T INCLUDED IN THE KIT THEY ARE REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION! (We recommend pairing these kits with Falcon’s – See more info on their choices below)
  • REQUIRED AFTER MARKET WHEELS OR WHEEL SPACERS TO MAKE UP FOR OFFSET WITH ALL FACTORY WHEELS – We always recommend including new wheels into the budget for an all-around better ride, look and feel long term but wheel spacers will work. (Biggest issue we can stress with the wheel spacers is having to cut the studs for installation – Meaning, if you ever go to take the spacers off you will have to replace the studs all the way around which gets pricey quickly!)

JKU (4DR) 3″ Sport ST3 Suspension System

  • Shocks and steering stabilizers are sold separately from Teraflex’s kits in order to allow additional customization per build – This usually depends on preference, usage, or budget.
  • All height change required components are included in order to maintain a quality ride and retain the geometry needed to keep all drivetrain components where they need to be in order to be functional
  • 3″ height allows for a MAX of 35″ tire (35X1250R)

Kit Includes:

  • Front Speed Bump Stops, Rear Progressive Bump Stops, upgraded front lower, rear upper, and rear lower control arms, upgraded front and rear coil springs, adjustable front track bar, rear track bar bracket, sway bar links (w/disconnetcs), and all needed hardware for new/existing materials.
  • Lift kit will perform confidently with daily pavement driving but will also perform excellently when put to the test on gravel, dirt, sand, rocks, and mud along the ride
  • Alignment is required after installation due to the suspension upgrade
